So after pulling 12,000,000 duong (that's very big duong) out of the ATM to buy our Minsks tomorrow, Mike and I went to the street to get some grub. After several days without pho, we felt the pull of a small streetside joint and sat down for a bowl. They didn't have beer, so I went across the street to a bia hoi and bought a mug there for 1,500 duong. 15,000? You mean a dollar? No, 1,500 - ten cents. When we asked the pho lady for the bill, she showed six fingers. That's 6,000 duong for a bowl of pho and 1,500 for two beers. One buck total for both of us. 50 cent each for dinner.
