So I've been trying my best to absorb a little media in an effort to learn more French. Can't say if it's helping much. The enlightening thing has been learning the French opinion of the U.S.

Les triomphes et les défaites


It's been raining almost every day that I've been here. Jesus' tears have put a major damper on my ambitious plans of excursion. Nonetheless, at the first hint of sunshine I did manage to flee the farm and visit la ville.

Ou est la guerre?


Sometimes, especially when I'm walking through the nearby town of Bussy-le-Grand, I get the feeling that I've been unwittingly transported into a fairy tale book. It might have something to do with the fact that none of the buildings here are built from flimsy materials like wood. Or maybe it's the castle I see when I look out my window.
